HOME SERVER

A must have for any home network.  Whether you are a computer enthusiast, large family, or just a media hoarder, home servers makes life that must more efficient.  Here we have our updated 15 terabyte server which functions as a movie library (using Plex), a security camera recorder, as well as a network storage center to backup and allow remote access to all of our important files.  There is something available for any budget (starting as low as $200!).

SMART/AUTOMATED HOME

I suppose no one NEEDS a smart home... but who doesn't want one?  Turn your lights on/off using your voice, have music playing in any room of your house, alert you when your kids get home from school... these are just a few of the tricks easily accomplished by a good smart home.  Take it a step further with motorized blinds, WiFi enabled thermostats, and ROBOT CHEFS making your meals.  Ok, no robots... yet.

WHOLE HOME REMOTE CONTROL

Everyone with more than one media device has run into the issue of remote control hoarding at some time.  Our solution?  A Logitech Harmony Smart Hub and IR signal repeater.  The smart hub automatically finds all of the commands for our various TVs, media streamers, and audio players... and allowing control using an included remote or our cell phones!  The IR repeater sends the signal throughout the house, allowing integration of any TV setup into our smart home system.  Want all the TV's to turn off at 10pm?  Easy.  Want the TV in the kitchen to turn on and show your favorite morning news program?  Done.

SURVEILLANCE CAMERAS

There are plenty of wireless security camera options available, but nothing beats the reliability and image quality of a wired camera.  POE (Power over Ethernet) cameras require a single wire to be run, can give you up to 4k image quality, and can be viewed from outside the home.  We have installed several outside cameras and have even replaced our baby monitors with these cams.  Note: P&S is not a security system installer, but we are happy to help the set up an enthusiast style camera system so you can enjoy this incredible tech in your home.
